How To Play Fantasy Survivor

Picks, points, MVP, the finale, commissioner powers and more. Read this once and you'll know exactly what you're doing.

How Picks Work

Every episode, you make 5 picks before the lock deadline. All 5 are required. Pick your best guess for each category, save it, and you're done.

Reward Challenge Winner

Who wins the reward challenge this episode.

Immunity Winner

Who wins immunity and is safe from the vote.

Voted Out

Who gets their torch snuffed at Tribal Council.

Safe Pick

Pick a castaway you think will survive untouched. Each castaway can only be your safe pick once per half of the season.

Mystery Question

A custom question set by your commissioner each episode. Could be anything.

Hidden until lock

Nobody can see your picks until the deadline hits. Once the episode locks, everyone's picks are revealed at the same time. No last-second copying.

Change picks freely before the deadline

Update your picks as many times as you want. Only your last save counts.

No Pick option

For Reward, Immunity, and Voted Out — if a category has no valid selection (like a week with no reward challenge), you can choose "No Pick". No Pick scores 0 points. Safe Pick always needs a real castaway.

Double-boot episodes

Some episodes send two people home. When that happens, there'll be a second "Voted Out" pick available. More risk, more reward.

Points and Scoring

All point values are set globally by the game admin — everyone plays by the same rules. Here's what each correct pick is worth.

Base points

Reward Challenge Winner (1st)40 pts
Reward Challenge Winner (2nd)20 pts
Immunity Winner (1st)40 pts
Immunity Winner (2nd)20 pts
Voted Out (correct)40 pts
Safe Pick (survives)40 pts
Mystery Question (correct)40 pts

Bonus points

Set globally. The same bonus values apply to every tribe.

Perfect Pick Bonus (pre-merge)

Get all your picks correct in one episode before the merge. Default: 100 bonus points.

Perfect Pick Bonus (post-merge)

Same thing but after the merge, when it's harder. Default: 200 bonus points.

Finale Bonus

Extra bonus stacked on top of a perfect pick during the finale episodes.

Early Pick Bonus

Submit your picks more than 24 hours before the deadline and earn a percentage bonus on your base score. Only applies if your commissioner has enabled it.

Pre-merge uses tribe-based challenge scoring (your whole tribe wins or loses). Post-merge is individual. Make sure you know which phase the episode is in before picking challenge winners.

MVP Pick

Pick one castaway as your MVP at the start of the season. Every episode they survive, you earn a flat bonus. The longer they last, the more you rack up.

  • Flat bonus per episode — your commissioner sets the amount (default: 50 points per episode your MVP survives).
  • Special MVP events — commissioners can award extra points for big moments like idols played, challenge wins, or pulling off a blindside.
  • If your MVP is voted off, you stop earning MVP points immediately. You can pick a new one, but your points reset to zero. Pick wisely.

Finale Rules

The finale plays differently. Instead of the usual 5 categories, you make just 2 picks.

Last Eliminated

40 pts (default)

Who gets cut just before Final Tribal Council.

Sole Survivor

200 pts (default)

Who wins the whole damn game.

  • Finale picks are still hidden until the episode locks, same as always.
  • If your commissioner has the Finale Bonus enabled, a correct perfect pick in the finale stacks extra points on top.
Getting the Sole Survivor right is worth 200 points by default. That's enough to flip the entire leaderboard. Don't count yourself out until the last vote is read.

Global Leaderboard

Beyond your tribe, there's a global leaderboard ranking every tribe in the season against each other.

How the ranking works

Each tribe is ranked by its average member score — total points earned by all members divided by the number of members. This levels the playing field between big tribes and small ones.

  • Tribes with fewer members aren't penalised — it's about quality, not quantity.
  • Your personal score feeds directly into your tribe's average. Every correct pick matters beyond your own leaderboard.

What the Commissioner Does

Every tribe has a commissioner. They're the one who runs the show behind the scenes. Here's what they're responsible for:

Enter episode results

After each episode airs, the commissioner inputs who won challenges and who got voted out. This is what triggers scoring.

Proxy votes

If a tribe member misses the deadline, the commissioner can submit a pick on their behalf (with limits set by the commissioner).

MVP adjustments

Award bonus MVP points for specific in-game moments — idol plays, strategic moves, challenge streaks, whatever the tribe agrees on.

Invite and manage members

The commissioner controls who can join the tribe and can manage the member list.

The commissioner cannot see other members' picks before the deadline either. The lock applies to everyone equally.

Point values (challenge wins, voted out, mystery question, MVP bonus, etc.) are set globally by the game admin — not by individual commissioners. Everyone competes on an equal footing.

Tie-Breakers

If two players are level on points, rank is broken in this order:

  1. 1Finale perfect-pick count
  2. 2Total perfect-pick count across all episodes
  3. 3Early-pick count
  4. 4MVP points
  5. 5Base weekly points (excluding bonuses)
  6. 6Name alphabetical order (last resort)

FAQ

How do I join a tribe?

Ask your commissioner for an invite code. Enter it on the Join Tribe page and you're in.

When do picks lock?

At the deadline your commissioner sets, usually just before the episode airs. You can update your picks as many times as you want before then.

What if I miss the deadline?

No submission means no points for that episode. If you know you'll miss it, ask your commissioner about a proxy vote. They can submit picks on your behalf, subject to the limits they've set.

Can I be in more than one tribe?

Yes. Join as many tribes as you want. Picks and scores are tracked separately in each one.

What is the No Pick option?

For Reward, Immunity, and Voted Out, you can select "No Pick" if a category has no valid candidates that episode. It scores 0 points. Safe Pick always needs a real name.

When are picks revealed?

After the deadline, everyone's picks are revealed at the same time. Nobody, including the commissioner, can see your picks before the lock.

What happens if my Safe Pick gets voted off?

You score 0 for the Safe Pick that episode. Your Safe Pick is separate from the Voted Out pick. Getting the Voted Out pick correct is actually worth points on its own.

Can I reuse the same Safe Pick?

No. You can only use each castaway as your Safe Pick once per half of the season. The window resets after the merge.

How does pre-merge challenge scoring work?

Pre-merge, challenges are tribe vs. tribe. If your picked castaway is on the winning tribe, you score the challenge points. Post-merge it switches to individual, so your pick needs to win personally.
